It is.  "yum update" works now without excludes and I still have both
2868 and 2869 kernels and kmdls.

nvidia driver on ATI should complain.  :-)

[OT rant - I have a very bad opinion of ATI anyway of late after severe
problems on both Windoze XP and Linux installations with ATI drivers.
Last ATI proprietary drivers I tried kept crashing my kid's system, and
the last M$-provided ATI driver updates for XP broke the All-in-Wonder
8500DV so badly I had to wipe the partition and re-install, even though
they were listed specifically for that hardware.  The ATI site in
various places recommended drivers that would not work for the hardware,
and other drivers that are no longer available for download.
