You can also use the video4linux kmdls.

You should install yum-plugin-kmdl before installing kmdls as this
makes yum more intelligent in the use of kmdls upgrades and matching
kernels etc.

As a safety measure I would also suggest to always keep the vanilla
CentOS/RHEL kernel installed as if there were an issue with the plus
kernel you could always boot into the vanilla kernel.
