ok got it unmuted... now am I supposed to move the bar up and down like the Master and PCM? Because I cant. After unmuting I did the following:
sudo alsactl store 0 aplay -l **** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices **** card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 0: ALC885 Analog [ALC885 Analog] Subdevices: 0/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 1: ALC885 Digital [ALC885 Digital] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 card 0: Intel [HDA Intel], device 3: ATI HDMI [ATI HDMI] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 The HDMI card is listed. After which I went into XBMC and did the following from the directions: Go to XBMC Audio output settings and choose custom for the Audio output device.
