Hello, I am writing to advertise a package: https://github.com/jojhelfer/cmdlist.el
Its purpose is to automatically update the "newcommand" statements in your latex file based on a global file containing your favorite definitions. It also updates the "usepackage" statements based on a file declaring which packages provide which commands (at present, this file must be maintained by hand, unfortunately -- though there are facilities in the package that help you do so). Please see the readme on the github page for more information. I might hope one day to get it integrated into Auctex, but for now I am just trying to get the word out and hope that some people will use and enjoy it (and maybe submit bug reports and/or contribute), and this seemed like an appropriate place to advertise. (Apologies if that is not an appropriate use of this list.) (Or perhaps someone will tell me that I've wasted my time and that such a package already exists!) Best, Joj
