It really never crashed mine, used it for a year or two. What /would/ crash it was the AAC decoder. Either it wouldn't recognize half the songs (a libtag? problem that they just pointed me back to you guys - I finally gave up, and never reported it to you folks, because I would just use my ipod directly). > encumbered and thus cannot be considered free software. OK So that's completely understandable. I agree with you 100%. I, also, agree that the libmad is very good quality, but what would need to happen to have a "save to disk while streaming" feature request? Is this something that you folks do, or is this something that libmad is responsible for? Do I have to use a wrapper like vsound everytime I start up a stream? I think I noticed that you folks were working on a client/server arch. Is a wrapper script for URL's starting the server, while having the client connect to the server a solution? I am not trying to be a pest, just looking for a workaround for the lack of functionality here. Or should I just go elsewhere? > Additionally, you are the first one to mention that it has been removed. > As such, I'm going to assume that nobody found it useful enough anyway. Apparently, people don't record streams as much as i do :) -E _______________________________________________ Audacious mailing list [email protected] http://mail.atheme.org/mailman/listinfo/audacious
