I've had a quick look there and it looks inconvenient to have a whole 
page for each word.
I've been experimenting with using google-docs, but it isn't very good 
for long docs.

But I agree we need to have a better solution.

The .po file is not yet up to date.  There are a number of i18n hints 
that have been added to the source code that are not yet in it, so 
please don't download it yet.
