If the issue is that audacity.pot isn't up-to-date, I've posted a new 
one just now:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/community/translation .

Translators on Linux can of course make their own audacity.pot at 
the command-line:

So I think you should be OK now to download fi.po and update it 
from audacity.pot.
