Well, all the following Tools Toolbar Status Bar messages appear to
have been in the 2.0.5 translation but not in 2.0.6:

wxTRANSLATE("Click and drag to edit the samples"),

wxTRANSLATE("Drag to Zoom Into Region, Right-Click to Zoom Out"),

wxTRANSLATE("Left=Zoom In, Right=Zoom Out, Middle=Normal"),
#endif
wxTRANSLATE("Click and drag to move a track in time"),
wxT("") // multi-mode tool
The code for the strings above which you don't mention has not changed
for years, so I assume something has happened to cause wxTRANSLATE
not to create strings any more.
I don't know, but it could possibly be an issue with the reorganisation
of translation for automake which took place between 2.0.5 and 2.0.6.
