2.3.1 work on code will start in about a week. We expect far fewer
new strings for 2.3.1 and a release just before the end of the year.

James, if you're outgoing, can you tell us (translators) who will be
the RM for the next release and who will manage the translation
front(if that's not the same person) please ?
I am highly likely to be the 'in coming' 2.3.1 RM. It hasn't been
absolutely decided yet, and is likely to be decided within a week.
Paul is highly likely to be the translation manager for 2.3.1. He was
for 2.3.0, but because of communication/misunderstanding I ended up
doing most of the very visible committing of .po files to Audacity.
Paul did many many fixes for internationalization issues in the code
that are significantly more work to do than what i did, but they are not
as visible to translators. In the end RM is responsible for getting the
release out, so that is why I was committing the .po files.
