To all translators using the Transifex project: Thanks to Michele Locati, we added a second resource to the Audacity Transifex project. This allows for translators to do more continuous translation, independent of string freezes, if they would like to.
Currently, these are the resources: * Audacity * Audacity (development) The Audacity resource is the standard resource, not updated frequently, the string freeze version. The Audacity (development) resource is updated daily (synced with the master branch of the Audacity repository) During the string freeze period, both resources will be identical. After that, the Audacity resource should remain the same until the next string freeze, whereas the Audacity (development) resource will slowly diverge. When the next string freeze happens, the translations from the Audacity (development) resource can be imported back into the Audacity resource. So: Resource Audacity: translate only this one if you want to translate only after a string freeze Resource Audacity (development): translate this one if you want a continuous translation, and import those translations back into the Audacity resource when a string freeze happens. About submitting translations to the mailing list: You should only submit translations from resource Audacity to the mailing list. The Audacity (development) translations will probably be incompatible with the Audacity source code until a string freeze. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.
