Re: stereo mix on windows 7 64 bit
No, burak. It's not always offered by the sound card anymore, and is no longer a windows feature. It must be specifically offered by your sound card manufacturer's drivers, and many aren't because it can be used in legally questionable ways (recording a phone call, pirating dvds). I mean, we can do those things anyway, but the sound card manufacturers and Microsoft don't seem to get that.
Dd, you may be missing a driver as the intel high definition audio device is typically just the windows default. To find out, you have to go to your computer's web site and look for downloads for your model or, should you not have such a site, google your computer's model and find out what the hardware is. I had to do the whole missing driver thing recently, and that's how my sound card showed up until I fixed it. It may not be missing, but if it is installing it will definitely open up some functionality. Getting s
tereo mix, however, is still only about 50 50.
