The problem is, in most muds, you don't just kill the bad guys. You kill whoever, or whatever, you want. Want to go around mindlessly slaughtering the townsfolk in the peaceful elven village? By all means. There are bad guys to kill, but most people on muds just go kill whatever earns them XP, whether it's demons from hell, or small children.
As for being sure he won't mess with the mud list, no, I'm not really sure of anything. I would have never known this was going on if you hadn't brought it up. I tend not to get involved in forums or communities, since I'm an antisocial person by nature. Basically I just check mudconnector once in a while to see if there are any new or updated listings. It's my main source for finding new muds to play, so it would bother me a bit if it died. But I have seen people out there do crazier things than ruining a website, especially in the name of religion.
