Okay, got it. You know, that might be a use for a second server. If you enable an option, you will connect to the high-quality server, which does as you said and kicks anyone whose internet connection can't handle the game. Records would sync between the two, so you could join either server (maybe you're in a new location or have to use your phone as a hotspot, so need the low-quality one) and still have your character be up-to-date. It's something to think about at least.
