Ah, that makes sense about exp, and a tutorial would be nice.
Regarding levelling though for some reason I didn't get the pokemon's level spoken after battles only the amount of experience they got, eg "blindduck got 150 experience" which is why I suggested adding in the other.
I'll have to check whether this is a bug with part not speaking or not.
