I'm not exactly sure how to check the version of my flash player, but NVDA gave me this:
Adobe Flash Player Control Panel Applet version 11,8,800,175
But yeah... YouTube Works just fine here, so I've got no idea why you've had so many troubles with it, unfortunately.
