Re: Griff! Sidescrolling Platformer Fantasy Game
Let me be very clear, because apparently people are misunderstanding.
Griff was held off in its announcement already months ago, specifically so that no one would need to wait weeks or even months on the game. This makes those months already gone and you didn't even know about the game. Not only was this a wiser choice, I also did not give Griff a release date. So that it would not be expected.
Read the text. It doesn't have a release date set. However, to prevent the claim that it would take months, I wanted to assure you that that is impossible due to the fact that it is a complete game now. Complete does not mean it's releasing right now, nor does it mean that it can possibly take more than a couple days due to the fact that development is through and finalization has limited small tasks. It takes about 16 hours true (and yes, that's at 8 hours a day) to perform the following tasks: file cleanup, publish the game, write the manual, package the game
, create non-expiring links, change out all site links, write up site column and send emails. Finalization is the last step and this makes ongoing wait times impossible, since development is what takes weeks to months. This has no release date set, it has not as of yet, but as a personal assurance, know that finalization never takes all that long.
for those who are saying this game is late, it seems you were confused. I apologize for the confusion, but this does not mean the game is late nor does it mean that there will be any significant wait times considering. Thank you for your patience and support.
Kind Regards,
Jyro
