My VoiceNote QT can actually be hooked up to a computer and used as a KNG. I've tried it before and I can even use it with NVDA.
The Eureka is running a modified version of CP/M 2.2, I'm not sure how much I could mess with it, but since I have to return it I really don't want to break it.
The Sonobraille is actually just a DOS machine with custom software on top of it. There is a command to exit to the DOS shell and you can do anything you want, since it has a soundblaster-compatible soundcard and 2 serial ports. I've played some DOS games on it, such as PCS breakout.
I'm not sure how much shipping could be and what you would want to trade this for, but it's definitely interesting.
USB synthesizers are pretty strange, I'm not sure how well they work as I've never had one myself. I have a PL2303 serial-usb adapter here, and it works perfectly. it emulates a serial port and anything can hook into it. I can use all o f my synthesizers with NVDA or any screenreader of my choice.
