Ah sorry firefly I should have mentioned that command, it's control plus g for the go to command which will help you get to different levels. Then press d for dungeon, the number 2 to go to the second level and enter.
I've never had to memmorize dungeon levels for dungeon crawl, which is why I enjoy it so much. The auto find function used with control + f,, the auto explore function by pressing o, and the auto travel function I already mentioned are so easy to use you can get to just about any landmark you wish without having to know how to get there. When you encounter an easy monster like a rat, you can simply press the tab key a number of times to automaticly move towards it and smack it with your weapon. If you encounter a tougher monster though, you will need to gain an understanding of the layout of your immediate area, and decide how you want to deal with it. If you encounter a group of monsters, it's best to find a narrow corridor so you can fight them
one at a time, but the game designers have tried to set up the dungeon so that it's very hard to find one at times. In the manual there should be a complete key command list, seperated into different categories.
