I probably wouldn't have gotten it for myself either, And I suppose that if I were a different kind of husband, all be it I'm not sure which kind, perhaps ungreatful? I'd probably be on my wife's case for not havinggotten me something a little more useful.
I think that, for now, at least, the beauty of it for me lies in knowing that blind people can even work with this thing. Not too long ago I had nothing more or less than skepticism when it came to overall accessibility. Apple has changed that for me in many regards. Sure, Android has caught up over the years, but I don't feel like Android developers truly have their hearts in it. MS? Well, um, nuff said on that subject, methinks. I figure that if we can show interest in Apple products by something as simple as lining their pockets and being consumers, we might actually keep progress going in the right direction. I'm not advocating fo
r complacency anymore.
