First, again, there is no bios editor. The bios, again, has absolutely nothing to do with windows. Unless you missed earlier posts, that should be easy enough to understand. In order for the bios to be editable in windows, or any other operating system installed on the system, the firmware needs to be designed to be editable by software. At this point, Toshiba is the only windows box I'm aware of that can manage that. Other than that, it, just, doesn't, work. If this is still over your head, just think of the bios as part of the hardware, because in a way it is, it's inside the motherboard, not the hard drive. If the bios was software or located on the hard drive of the computer, and the hard drive failed which is one big reason to go into the bios, you'd be, um, screwed.
