problem with prometheus's aiming system was you aimed at a ship name. This is a bit like pressing the auto lock on button in a main stream game. Press that auto aim button fast enough, often enough and you'll never miss. In the case of prometheus, it was lock x-lor. everyone did it, noone used coordinate based aiming. If anyone with the name x-loritan in their ship name happened to enter the sector before a wave of invading ships? lock x-lor matched to that player's ship and everyone's gunning went down the pan. So while the targeting seems cool, it's really just promoting lasyness. Also, correct me if I'm wrong but both sc and miriani had active blind players before sound packs were a thing
