Re: iOs Word And Puzzle Games Please?
There is a wonderfully accessible crossword game on IOS called Four Down. You can play 24 crosswords for free and buy another 24 as an in-app purchase. I can't recommend this game highly enough. It gets around grid accessibility by telling you what letters are filled in in each clue and letting you flick through the different clues.
There's also a game called Braingle which has a mix of logic puzzles and problem solving tasks in various categories.
I have a game called Song Trivia which, I think, is an anagram game. You need to rearrange the letters to make the name of a band or artist. I can't remember if you get any clues or anything with it because it's been a while since I played it last. I think some of the button labels are quite confusing but it is accessible.
There's a very good and totally free language learning app called Duo Lingo. I know this isn't a game but, if you want something to keep your brain occupied, it's v ery, very good. It makes you use different ways to learn words in a language lesson, such as matching pairs of words, typing words you hear or their translations, repeating words you hear or saying their translations, and reordering words to make sentences. There is support for loads and loads of languages on it.
There's a word search game which I think is just called WordSearch. It's accessible, although wordsearches on the iPhone are super fiddly.
Finally, there's one called Sudoku For All which, I think, is also free. This, again, suffers like the wordsearch game in that it's really hard to navigate the grid. It is accessible though.
