@ammericranian, I absolutely don't mind that in the case of multiple endings. The reason is that since there are other endings, you can go back and get a better ending. No, the bad ending is not great, but you know, especially if you're told before hand that there are other endings, that one of them will be better. Lets say you play for 30 hours the first time and get the bad ending. Lets also assume that the 30 hour playthrough was your first time through the game. That means that for the second playthrough, you're skipping most of the storyline because you've seen it before, you know where most things are located and how to solve the dungeons or whatever challenges are in the game you're playing, and your total play time is likely to be cut from 30 hours to maybe 4 hours, in order to see a much better ending. That is very worth it, in my opinion.
The only time I don't like a bad ending is when it's the only ending and there may not be a s equel planned.
