if that's what you need to do, I guess it can't be helped. I was actually looking forward to this being first person, because onistly there are way too few new first person games when everyone's all on the side scroler trip it seams. My main concern is that ground combat will now involve getting behind someone any way you can and shooting them. So, if you were fighting enemies, or other players on the ground, all they'd need to do is stand along any down facing wall so noone could get behind them.
