If you implemented combat in to the game, it would be best if weapons have a certain amounts of durability, in which if you use that weapon often the weapon will be shattered, and enemies can't be effective with just only one weapon. For example, a skeleton must be killed with a dagger, flying enemies must be attacked with a flying projectile, etc.
Also, it would be good if you add doors to the level. Some of them can be opened normally without any key, others requires a key, by flipping switches or levers like in the original tomb hunter, or others need to unlock it by solving puzzles
