in regards to food, You can capture stuff with mouse traps, try laying them near patches of long grass. Your pretty much guaranteed to catch a snake or two that way. Later on in the game, their are supply stores you can rade for food and ammo. You can also blow them up. The good thing there as it serves the purpose of screwing with your enemies. The supply buildings still spawn stuff for you. Hearing this walkthrough makes me want to have another play through myself, also it makes me want to have another crack at peace walker. *runs off to order the metal gear solid HD collection*
