However, you may want to simply get the latest version from GMA directly, since it fixes some bugs and does include a sound overhaul.
The sound files aren't ogg (vorbis requires a lot more processing power and I'm not sure it existed when SOD was first written). They're raw audio with header data (do not edit!)
