Pardon the double post, but I've been trying to solve the cube by myself, but can only do the top two layers. The bottom layer just seems fiendishly difficult. If I did solve the bottom layer, it'd be as much dumb luck as logic, so I decided to have a look at the downloadable guide as mentioned above. It's not super easy to follow, there are definitely bits I had to read several times before I got the jist of what was being said, but there's one bit particularly that just seems to mess up no matter how many times I follow the instructions. Don't know if I'm misinterpreting what I'm supposed to be doing, or if there's a mistake in the guide. It's possible as there's a typo or two here and there. It's the bit called position the fine dot corners correctly. It says position two correct corners, then follow a sequence, but that sequence always results in a messed up cube. I'd be interested to know if anyone else who has a cube can follow these instructions with good results.
