No, Microsoft Anna is the worst sapi 5 voice made, trust me. I would prefer Sam to that piece of garbage called Microsoft Anna. I remember the days of Windows 7 and being forced to use Anna as a SAPI voice. No thanks.
As for the voices, it depends on what operating system you're using.
I don't think Mike, Mary or Sam for SAPI 5 works on anything higher than Windows XP.
You can however use Anna on XP though why you'd want to is beyond me.
As for the voices in Windows 8, I believe those won't work with anything but Windows 8 and newer. I know, curse Microsoft for blocking people from using the pretty good voices on older Windows operating systems.
