Tech: what you hate and what you can't live without
Finding useful stuff is a hard business. Sometimes you just don't feel like doing the legwork involved. Some items are rarities most people probably don't even know exist, while others are beloved by great majority.
Inspired by another topic I read that had, practically nothing to do with this, I've decided to start this one to see what everyone lists. It doesn't matter what the product is really, provided it has at least somewhat of a technological background... I really don't mind hearing about your electronic fidget spinner if that's even a thing. By that same token, some of these are products someone else is more than likely going to find useless or flat out hate, so I simply ask that if you list something here on either side of the spectrum you do so respectfully, as no one size fits all, or else we'd all be wearing the same exact shoes! There's no real right way to organize your products, so I'll begin and you can follow the leader, or you can do it your own way and bla bla bla...
Products I love: iPhone, Apple TV, PC-usually a desktop, yamaha mg xu 10 input stereo mixer for production and even casual listening purposes.
Things I hate: Amazon Kindle, electric can openers, most DVD players... I haven't found one that I can actually use, most electric toothbrushes, most housephones as they are practically in accessible, touchscreen TV's, most modern microwaves, most mainstream thermostats, my mother's washing machine, and any other inaccessible touchscreen device, period! No questionmark!
Things I want: Accessible TV, Yamaha Montage because why not, a larger external harddrive than the one's I currently have functioning, better speakers than the ones I have at an afordable price, a remote controled ceiling fan.
Things I miss: my NES, my SNES, my n64, my Yamaha prs-340, my Kenwood, Iowa and Sony stereo systems, my braille lite.
See what I mean? I'm sure you can all come up with a bunch of other stuff that's personal to you, and that's what we're here to do, as personal can get rather interesting!
