regarding keyboards, I think this is a pretty complete discussion for many alternatives. My conclusion is that voice dictation is just a blast to use and works amazingly well 98% of the time. Combining this with editing text and the keyboard auto suggestions (which really are good at learning how you express yourself) probably is satisfactorily enough for me.
