III. Advanced Defense
Advanced Blocking Lesson:
Hold D+Block
Hold D+Block, after blocking low attack release D but keep holding Block as the opponent attacks.
Hold Block, Jade will attack several times hi, hit D while never letting go of Block to Block a low attack, then release D but still holding Block as she will do a standing combo attack. So whold block the entire time while standing, block the lower attack and then keep blocking high for the remainder of her combo.
Complete! Hit 3F3.
Lesson: reversal attacks
Block attack, then DF2. There will be a pause after you block to give you time to execute the reversal attack.
Block the attack, then DF2. No pause this time, you have to do it in real time.
Block attack, then BB.
Complete! Hit 3F3 to continue.
Lesson: Getup
Up+2 while rising after knockdown. There will be a pause after you get knocked down.
Up+2 while rising. This time there is no pause.
Up+3 while rising. Opponent will keep attacking if you don’t perform it at the right time, then positions reset if you don’t get it right.
Up+2 while rising, then immediately D2.
B+L2 while rising, to roll back.
B+L2 while rising again.
F+L2 while rising.
Hold L2 after being knocked down to delay getting back up.
Hold L2 after knockdown, again.
Complete! Hit 3F3 to continue.
Lesson: flawless block
Hit Block as opponent attacks. The game will pause to give you time.
Hit block right before attack lands!
Hit D+Block right before attack lands!
Hit block right before first attack lands, then continue holding block!
Hit D+Block right before first low attack hits, then continue holding D+Block!
Complete! Hit 3F3 to continue!
Lesson: block attacks
Hit Block right before attack hits, then Up+2.
Hit block right before attack hits, then up+2, again.
Hit Block right before first attack hits, then immediately up+3.
Hit block right before first attack hits, then immediately up+2 then D2.

Lesson: advanced interaction
Hit R1 or 1+2.
Hit R1 then hold D to throw interactive projectile low.
Hit R1 to perform corner escape.
Hit R1 then immediately 3 to perform jump kick instead of corner escape. Cool!
Hit R1+R2 to block opponent attack and immediately counter with interactive object. Hit both buttons simultaneously.
Complete! Hit 3F3 to continue.
Lesson: Breakaways
D+R2 when launched into the air. There will be a pause this time.
Hit D+R2 when launched, again.
Hit D+R2 when launched, yet again.
And those are the sweet sounds of you unlocking 1,000 Koins and 100 Time fragments or something. Good job.
