True enough. Keysoft always uses its own wave files, because even with kgm you'd still have only one sound instance playing at a time, though a hardware synth always sped up performance. I need to see if anyone on blind-bst still has either keynote multimedia diskettes or Keysoft. I'd say a Keynote Companion image would also work, but I believe that actually is Keynote hardware inside the laptop, so probably not.
