Hmm... It doesn't seem like its a small run, maybe one of the later prototypes? Why the NDA? If it was production ready you'd think they'd have put out a press release taking pre-orders and be more free wheeling with the API to build up the ecosystem. At that price point its obvious they're not targetting the consumer market, so the question is are companies, schools, or goverments interested enough in sinking the money and time to develop the software ecosystem for it? As amazing as it is, the value proposition just doesn't seem worth it, but who knows.
