Oh yeah, in sutch case it comes down more towards more expencive and complicated options. As stated before, I'm not all that at home with those, but we can still try to explore the topic.
So typing "hardware sequencer" into the mighty google beast brought up the following article:

It's somewhat of a mess regarding proper description of different products it actually lists, but still gives quite an overview of some of the options available at the moment. And as usual, prices are not named and need to be checked elsewhere. Also there are a number of not really correct statements, as for example the Elektron Octatrack can obviously be used as a sequencer, but is actually a sampler in the first place.
