I think I discovered what causes that to occur.
It seems like you have to turn the flight management computer on first, and then turn all other things on.
I would sometimes forget and turn it off the last, so I think it somehow gets confused if I have the radio on without having the computer on, and then it doesn't understand what the destination airport is.
So far, I haven't gotten the same “bug” again after doing it in this order:
• computer
• lights
• buckle in
• engines
• refuel
• ventilation
• tempering
• pressuring
• TCas
• storm radar
• communicator
• transponder
• radio
• request passengers
• set destination
