Hello. This also interests me. Yes, you can disable them through the manage key labels dialog, but if I remember right the last time I did this, it worked correctly for things like ctrl or shift on their own, but if I would for example press ctrl shift f it would still announce the shortcut. It's a second of unneeded delay and I hope you can get rid of it somehow.
