As for the demon invasion question, one requirement is that you do it in the specified time. I. for example, am on eastern standard, so I've never been able to do the demon invasion. As for obtaining massive amounts of gold, the only reliable way I know of is to do calling array, which I've heard gives you bucketloads of the stuff. Unfortunately, this requires a team; perhaps you'll have better luck finding teammates than I generally do.
