Sure you can, and you would need to find a way if you were to use a PL which doesn't support OOP like in C, but since you have OOP within Python, you can go ahead and use it. It usually helps to write better code and is more readable/understandable.
You could of course use named tuples if you wanted to take the functional route, just check out the collections package for python (it comes with the STL). It enhances readability and still just is a tuple. But to wrap things up, i'd suggest you stick with the OOP scheme smile.
