Stay away from Arch Linux and other advanced distros like that until you've got a good grasp on how Lnux works, partition management and such. Arch Linux is not newbie friendly, no matter what "arch installer" you mentioned. At Queens, there's FreeOS as well, though we've had some build problems for that right now. Still, stay away from that; Debian and Ubuntu Mate are very good choices.
If your on a constrained system, go for Ubuntu with LXDE. Its ridiculously lightweight and is very accessible. (Side note: Orca and QT5 play nice now.)
