Flash support is already dead, sites just have until 2020 to upgrade to html5 which offers more room for accessibility. Considering Google's tight hold on extensions which isn't always a good thing, I imagine Google will probably be disabling all extensions that have even a thing to do with Flash once Flash reaches official end of life, considering the amount of malicious extensions that have arose from Flash.
