Beaten the game now. I didn't have any trouble with the marshes, and I only had to go through two of them, not three. Not sure why. And even without Ian's instructions, the area made sense. I died twice and then just played carefully. You have to remember where you step and be logical, that's all.
Not really worth playing over again, but there's a lot of good story threads here. Some weird acting and sound design, and some volume/fuzz issues, but overall it doesn't sound bad. The exploration is pretty simple, as are most of the puzzles, and the combat is fairly straightforward (seriously, I didn't get hit once after watching the video about the combat trick). But again, it's not bad. I could see paying five or ten bucks for it, and I hope that they come back to this game in some fashion at some point, hopefully with some improvements. I'd be interested to see where the story goes, if nothing else.
