Could this library be used in more than just games? For example, I could see this being used in Retroarch for Windows users, to hopefully cut down on needed libraries to access stuff. Also, Retroarch is written in C/C++, so it shouldn't be hard to integrate there.
Also, having speech be controllable by the developers would be great, one could use 3D libraries to tell the user where things are by "pointing" at them, instead of saying "Ex-core: 5 full dashes away in the left corner at the north end of the stage" and such.
