Well, what #4 says is not entirely correct. There are drivers which don't update themselves, in fact, graphics drivers like NVIDIA or AMD drivers are more rare than the drivers which don't actually update themselves. Even though Windows 10 took a big step forward in regards of driver detection and updating, its still far from perfect, and certainly has problems with older systems/drivers. Driver Genius e.g. can back up already existing driver libraries, like if you want to re-install your entire system, you can simply install back your old drivers to have an entire machine up and running in no time. It also finds older drivers, like I have an old ThinkPad R500 lying around here, Windows 10 never gets the correct ATI drivers (yeah its like 15 or so years old) running, but Driver Genius does. Traditionally, Windows 10 has some problems with more exotic devices like LTE/4G dongles or some WiFi pcie cards. I however didn't find any driver that Driver Genius was not able to handle yet. Its up to you if you need a software like this and if you want to use it at all, but for system administrators who set up machines quite often, such assistive tools can save you some time indeed.
