Re: your first and current phone
My first actual phone was a nokia I had in about 2002 or so, of course that was back in the days when mobile phones were, ---- mmm, just phones that were mobile .
I used a parrot voice mate for all of the phonebook functions etc, and that was a surprisingly good machine.
I went on that way with inaccessible but plane phone type phones until rather late, about 2012, before I decided it was time to join the 21st century and get an Iphone.
Oddly enough, it wasn't the speech for the phone itself that attracted me, but all the games aps and other bells and whistles.
I got an Iphone 5, which interestingly enough is still working and being used by my dad, indeed accept for the lock screen button it is still fine.
However, in 2018 I upgraded to an Iphone 8 which I'm still using now, and have no plans to upgrade until a newer model actually does something an older one cannot, which I'm guessing will probably be around 2022 or maybe even 23, assuming I have the lucre at that point .
