On my own experience, firstly there isn't any option to share the device. Its okay but sometimes i do need to use the same device for screenreading purposes, and second. Its all okay but whenever it crackles or something goes wrong, the device resets itself, making it unusable. That means you have to go through preferences and setup everithing again. If you're recording or something (live gigs, i'm speaking to you), you're screwed. At least that happens to me all the time i tried that stuff. Fortunately the interface i had came with a nice asio driver for it, so no need to try that.
