Re: Anyone Tried Citadel BBS and Groupware?

Hi,
I'm resurrecting this topic, because if things go well, I might end up getting a Pi in a couple months.
In the spirit of trying to find a solution to Fastfinge's issue, I think you can enforce user validation, and also disable new users' read/smtp access. It goes against everything a BBS was about, but sadly I don't see other ways of protecting against spammers. This would be especially important on a low power pc such as the Pi. Sadly I still don't know what's the overal security status of the package.
Opinions anyone?

Rob
