Re: why do we fear the blind?
Interesting, I've not looked at the bible much lately, but I know there are a lot of blind references in there, so I could see how it might be taken the wrong way, I've probably done it to some stuff in there myself. Maybe there's a bit of an intimidation factor too, to someone who doesn't know at all about how blind people get around, suddenly seeing someone walking around swinging what to them is just a really long stick side to side on the ground and with all this weird technology on them, but I'm just guessing. As always, humor seems to be the best medicine, assuming you can get a conversation going.
