Re: why do we fear the blind?
Chandu: I wander how you can navigate around in the town, go by shopping, navigate in a restaurent and navigate in unknown places without using a cane? Trust me, if I did that here, people would start looking at me, start yelling at me and think I was the worst bad guy ever, because I accidently bump into them in the streets. I would be hit by cars, bikes, busses, trucks and all kinds of things because people can't see I'm blind. So I wander how the heck you're navigating around without using a cane. For me it sounds like you're not going out alone but only hang out with friends, and have to rely on where they leads you. Sorry to say, but I like the choice of going on my own whereever I wanna go.
