I'd hesitate to call horde "playable."
You can run around and shoot things, but its more of a, "lets see if I can actually hit anything in all this chaotic noise and madness?"
I'm sure people far more dedicated than I have more success with such things, but I just find the process overload kills any enjoyment I might have had otherwise.
